PURPLE HANDWOVEN IKAT PURE SILK SAREE

Handloom ikat silk saree that has a dual tone purple body shot with pink and accentuated with miniature ikat diamonds and dots that almost lend to it a bandhani appearance. The lines of the ikat in the diamonds are narrow and almost uniform , to hint at the skill of tie & dye artisan and the handloom weaver who wove this saree for you.  The beautiful purple body is adorned by a white temple border with a dual tone outer background in red and zari , giving the saree a muted luxurious look. As the entire body of the saree has ikat motifs, the double red and pink borders of the saree have been kept plain in order to maintain the grandeur.
