ORANGE AND WHITE HANDLOOM IKAT PURE SILK PATOLA SAREE

This handwoven ikat saree has tie & dye ikat slanting lines in orange and white all through the body of the saree. On the lower side, The saree is adorned with double borders - one of which is an intricately woven border patola ikat motifs in shades of green and whit. The saree has a 4 inch zari border that runs through out its length on both the upper and lower sides. The pallu and blouse of the saree have all over  rich tie-dye ikat motifs. The finely done ikat motifs on the second lower border, the patola motifs on the pallu and blouse, all showcase of the skill of the artisans who did the tie-dye of the yarns and wove the saree.
